Hi Everyone! I am Lilly - a former Division I college lacrosse player and certified Anatomy & Mat Pilates instructor. After facing injury after injury while playing lacrosse, I struggled to find a workout that felt GOOD on my body after graduating. I fell in love with the lengthening & sculpting exercises and emphasis of the mind & body connection of Pilates. However, I was still craving the same intensity of workouts I did while training for lacrosse.
I completed a 200-hour certification course in Anatomy & Mat Pilates through New York Pilates and created PilatesbyLD, which sequences together Pilates inspired exercises into an athletic workout.
PilatesbyLD workouts are challenging lengthening and toning, Pilates based workouts. Each sequence of movement is designed to sculpt your body and reset your mind. We focus on proper alignment to allow us to push ourselves out of our comfort zone in a way that feels good. We will use our breath to push ourselves further into each exercise to come out stronger & energized!
